MessageI enjoyed looking at your site. I have custody of the Silver Star received by my relative Angus J. Cronin, USMC. I know he received it as a result of his actions during the Korean War. I think he was either a Captain or a LTCOL at the time. He was a West Point graduate and is now deceased. I would like to learn more about the specifics and circumstances associated with his receiving his award. I could not find his name on your list of Marine Corp recipients. Could you please give me guidance or pass on your thoughts as to how I could gain more information Thank you.

MessageI am the son of David Taphouse. I believe that he was in the 5th Cavalry He fought in Korea. Specifically, hill 174. Of the little he would speak of his experience, he said that he was one of a few survivors of this fierce battle. He served 18 months in Korea and had some issues with his vision when he left. I am hoping to hear from someone that may have served with my dad. Thank you all for your service and sacrifice.

MessageMy name is Stephanie Goldstein. I found out about 5 years ago maybe a little longer that I have a sister in Korea. My father's name is Leo Goldstein (Goldy). She tried contacting my big brother years ago in California but he did not know of her existence then and thought it was a scam. My father passed away in 1981 but I would love to connect in person. I will know she is real when I hear her voice. I have talked to her many times in my head.

Message Recently i been visiting your site regularly. My sister told me about how my father's name was mentioned in your Uncreg personnel page. Like most soldiers, my Pops never said much of his War Years, whether it was WWII, Korea, or Vietnam. Thank you for shedding some light on this matter. You have a wonderful website.
