MessageI was in the Korean War 1951-52 in Gloucester Regiment. I was attached to them as a ramc cpl. Later I went to Japan and met Cpl Derek Hirst ramc. I relieved for him to go home and he taught me the job he was doing. We were together for one month as he had to wait for a boat. Following that in 2002 there was a program on tv called Forgotten Heroes Derek Hirst was shown on this. I would like to get in touch with him if i could. Any news of him would be great. Thanks.

MessageMy father Junior Paul Ralph fought in the Korean War in the early 50"s, until he was wounded. He is a Navajo native of Arizona. He passed on in April of 2003, unfortunatly he never really talked about the events of the war, only a small mention of seeing a lot of comrades dying. I never asked questions thinking it would bring back bad memories. I am trying to find someone who may have known him to try to retrieve his DD214 that was destroyed in the 1973 fire in St. Louis, Mo. He did boot camp in Ft. Leggit in California before being sent off to Korea. Anyone out there please contact me by email. Thank You! Christine

MessageI'm looking for anyone that knew my dad who was in Korea from 52-53 (I think). Capt. Robert S. Anderson at the that time. He retired in 1962. I'm VERY proud of my dad's service to his country and he passed away 11/20/2003. He spent his final years in San Diego playing a lot of golf.

MessageLooking for anyone serving with our dad, Andrew "Andy" Arakaki. VA records were destroyed in fire. We think he joined in 1954 and served about 3 years. He was from Kona, Hawaii and was only 18 years old. If you knew our dad please email us with whatever you know. Mahalo.

MessageI am the daughter of Junior Daugherity, I would just like to connect to anyone who knew my dad or could tell me any information about what the letters or numbers mean on his DD214. My dad is 77 years old. Here is some of the info on the form. Service #Ra19 411 849, He enlisted on March 29, 1951 in Fresno, Ca., Honorable Discharge March 28, 1954. On Jan 20, 1954 rank is showing CPL(T), place of separation Hq Special Troops Command, Ft. Benning, GA. Most Sig Duty assignment, Co. "C" 30th RCT. I am very proud of my dad and love him very much. I started researching the Korean War in order to help my Dad with frostbite and getting veterans pay. He has told me stories which at first was very hard to get out of him because he was sworn to secrecy. Also under Foreign and/or Sea Service 1 yr & 7 days. Just want to connect with anyone so I can question my dad some more. Thanks Brenda Tate
